Lake Mary/Heathrow/Sanford/Longwood home sales have been in decline. Gitta has a market update that explains how you can navigate through the real estate headwinds in Orlando.

Hi everyone! This is Gitta with Gitta Sells & Associates.
Orlando home sales for February 2019 have experienced a year over year decline of 5% according to the Orlando Association of Realtors. This is the second year over year decline in sales as January had a 14% decline. Orlando Home values during the same period increased by 2.6% to a $235,000 median price. The median prices were also 3.5% than January 2019. The housing supply, homes on the market increased by 6.3 %, indicating the beginning of a buyer market. Throughout the central Florida area, by county, the following real estate sales were reported.
*Lake County: 16.0 percent below February 2018;
*Orange County: 6.2 percent below February 2018;
*Osceola County: 21.0 percent below February 2018;
*Seminole County: 2.8 percent below February 2018.
